The Bride and Groom

Minh

Minh was born in Vietnam and lived there until 1991 when she and her family immigrated to the U.S (Georgia). She grew up in a surburban city two hours south of Atlanta. In 2005, a year after graduating from Columbus State University with a BBA in Accounting and Finance, Minh moved to the Washington DC/Northern Virginia area for an auditor position with the Department of Defense. She currently works for Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, one of the Big Four Accounting firms in the world, in consulting clients who have contracts with the U.S federal government. She’s been blessed with opportunities to travel around the world, but she always looks forward to coming home every weekend. With any free time she has, Minh loves hanging out with Robert, her friends, and her beloved pomeranian (Taz). She also enjoys traveling and delegating house chores to Robert. Minh promises to nag less (if that’s possible) and not be so grumpy in the morning after they’re married.

Robert

Robert was born in St. Catharines, Ontario and has lived in California and Colorado. His family settled in Northern Virginia in 1989 and has been there since. Although Robert grew up in Virginia, he attended and graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, NY with a BS in Information Technology. Upon graduation from RIT in March 2007, Robert moved back to Northern Virginia for a job. In April 2011, Robert transitioned from a mid-size consulting firm to a small consulting firm where he is the front-end web developer working on a project for Symantec. When not coding or fixing HTML/Javascript bugs on websites, Robert likes to play video games, travel with Minh, hang out with friends, and find new and interesting ways to annoy Minh and the dog. During the marriage, Robert promises to be less stubborn and not to nag Minh as much about her nagging ways and morning grumpiness. :) Oh and Robert promises to also take care of a new four-legged friend should they welcome one into the family.
